I have been practising a bit more, trying to find the middle point between too dark and too light colorworks
Taking some wise advices, I'm trying to work with hightlights a bit more and not use those usual white lines I usually place on the character edges. Also, I want to test the colored linearts a bit more and see if that works or not... dunno, dunno.Here is *LightningRyu with her little minion !Pr0stSh0cKeR . I can't remember the last time I drew her, and this comes to thank her for a little talk we had this summer :]
I think I'm going to create a wallpaper for my laptop with it, since the original file I colored is 3000x2000 pixels... xD;; Go me!!
(yeah, I'm shameless about this piece, I kinda like how it looks like, so nyah) xD;;

It blends nice! sabes tambien podria ayudar darle calidez o una tonalidad en general a la foto para lograr enfatizar lo obscuro sin tener que caer en tonos muy neutros. ;3 FILTROS!

Yay! Dragons! I know the char designs aren't yours, but they're both so fun-looking I can see why you drew them. ^_^
I'm one of those people that loves shinies way too much, so my first thing is, "Where's the shinies on the metal?" But you weren't emphasizing that, you were going between too dark and too light with highlights. What I love about metal is the bigger the contrast in it, the shinier it looks.
I like where you're going with highlights. This is like a nod to realistic painting techniques, and it really brings out the furry texture. That's most noticeable in the legs. I like your contrast on the... hair? Mane? and tail tip.
My only little tiny critique is that the background throws off the "feeling" of the pic to me. (Yay for vague artistic sense!) Even though you used the background with permission and it does sort of fit, your drawing conveys one feeling, the background conveys another, and they clash to me. I hope that makes sense. x.x;
