Almost felt the same thing for Sonic when I was playing the game Shadow The Hedgehog on the Space Colony ARK, it almost felt like if you could get stuck in there and almost looks the same except it was similar but with obstacles there.

The Doom was the trickiest one imo. o,o Took me about 4 hours last time. I kept getting lost, but I really wanted to beat that level...
