How have you all been?
I have a lot to tell you about, for the last months have been… quite remarkable.
First, I want to give you some awesome news!
I started working now, and miraculously got a job at a small animation studio here in Brazil. The timing couldn’t be better: They just started making their first traditionally animated MOVIE!
I sent them my portfolio and they actually wanted me as the background artist!
This happened in August, and I got so excited I almost exploded into a rainbow.
I thought I was only going to paint backgrounds (I painted over 40 background concepts for the movie so far!) but since this is a small studio… I ended up having to work on character and creature concept art as well! Which is AMAZING! I really, really hope this movie is a success! As soon as it’s out, I’ll let you guys know first thing!

Pardon me for asking, but I was wondering what program you use to write / create your amazing illustrations? If you are not comfortable with sharing, I understand. But I'm working on a little project of my own and was going around asking for tips n' such.

So far, this comic reminds me a lot of Rango; was that an inspiration?

Funny how Steban reminds me a bit of Charlie from "All Dogs go to Heaven", when that was what I was looking at in google images when I stumbled upon this comic.
I really like it so far. The drawing is like that of Off-White , while the plot/story design reminds me of InuHoshi's old comics .

If you'll allow me to say that this is just stunning! Your artwork seems to bring the characters to life, and the expressions! That just's the cherry one top! Just the story itself is inspiring and amazing~ I'd DIE for talent like that aauhhgh!!! The backgrounds are breath taking and for the longest time I've waiting for a series like this! Ive always loved old ghost towns or western themes! When i was younger i can even recall a few 'cowboy' parties. Keep up the good work!
