He exploded upwards with a shout of "This?" and snatched the girl's scarf off from around her tail. He landed, twisted, and gazed back at the Skitty, smirking a piggy smirk. She seemed stunned by his action, and for a heartbeat or two she could only stare at him.
"I guess you're not as qui-"
Attract.
She hit him with Attract, and that was it. Game over.
"Thaaaank you~" She took back the scarf, smiling sweetly at him. Miles sat unmoving more a moment. Blinked a few times. Then. . .
"Heeey," he purred as he turned back to her - or rather, tried to purr; she was the cat, not him - "Kiss me if I'm wrong, but you are the most stunning Skitty I have ever met in mymy entire flaming life."
He reached out to her shoulder, intending to give her a hug and maybe even a quick kiss, but she shoved him away. Her entire being, from her voice to her expression to the sudden flattening of her ears, seemed to radiate /Not interested!/
"Great. . .and just when I thought you couldn't get any more annoying. . ."
"Annoying?" Stunned; hurt, even; Miles withdrew a step. "Me? But. . .but the only annoying thing here is how beautiful you are!"
She glared.
"And that's not even annoying at all!" he quickly finished.
No answer. Miles tried again.
"Your eyes are the color of a-"
At this last bit, Leonie finally snapped. She whirled around, smacking his face with the puff on the end of her tail. The Tepig felt the angry, embarrassed heat radiating from her face.
"Shut your mouth!" she screamed, "Or I will!"
This was probably for the best, as Miles's next word would have been 'Trubbish', but still he felt a whimper in his throat as Leonie stormed off down the forest path and left him shadowing after her, brokenhearted.
