A new job has kept me from painting as much as I'd like, but I finally finished painting this fantastic sculpt (1/7 scale) (63 pieces) from pkking. One thing I'd like to mention about this sculpt, it's amazingly engineered ... no putty work and if you wanted, no glue was necessary to put the entire piece together. Every layer of pieces was very carefully designed to cover any gaps in the level below. PK is a true master.As always, the entire piece was hand-painted with acrylics.

really masterfully work and awe inspiring.
its good to hear that others hand paint. i work on scale models and really love hand painting(i make it work alright) i hear alot that i should swich over to airbrush, but in the end i just love the brush(and thus always hold off on getting one)
anyways i am very inspired to know that i dont have to give it up to make a better model, just practice.

thanks for your kind and thoughtful words ... yeah, I have been told to get an airbrush too, but like you I really enjoy having a brush in my hands and feel like I can do something a little unique with a paintbrush that I'm not sure I could do w/ an airbrush.

A great piece. The transparency effect at the base of the figure is jaw dropping.
