Wow, I entirely disagree about the border.
If you have some gaudy frame, it'd take away from the dream-like feel of the photo itself.
So keep the border,

...pur essendo degli anni 50 riesce a inquietare in una maniera indescrivibile... quando i film di paura erano fatti di silenzio (facci caso non c' colonna sonora) qualche effetto visivo e tanta suggestione.
fa molto + effetto di un "Le verità nascoste" ad esempio... (gran film anche questo, per carità... l'ho usato ad esempio perchè l'ho visto di recente...)
