The strokes are very expressive and add to the overall absolutely deranged feeling I get from this artwork, it is ugly in the most beautiful way, I love it.

The biggest thing i would have to say is to paint with better coverage so that white space is gone. Try to also make the colors consistent throughout for a cleaner and more solid color. Also most of the time you are painting in a single consistent direction for the background but at the top it seems you're going along with the head. Also the face especially is not painted with strokes in the same direction. With colored pencil you can get away with this perhaps but paint is much more unforgiving. If strokes are in the same or similar direction it looks cleaner (there are exceptions such as cross hatching but i have no idea how well or bad it works with paint). Finally there is a white outline. If you wanted it fine but if you didn't first paint on the lighter color. Next bring out the darker color and you can go over it but not too far. The point is to make a seamless boundary.
