Fifth of my character portraits for Reality Clash. The sketch for this looked so nice, I don't know where it went wrong. Anyway, this is Zephyr, an old character that I'm redesigning for this (like many of my old characters). If someone actually noticed that the mark on his forehead is the same one that Chad has (the blue guy with the purple hair?), that's because it is. It's called the Mark of Fate and indicate who is suppose to rule over their world. His doesn't glow anymore since he lost the job after dying one one too many time. If he dies again, it'll be for real. He doesn't mind, he's been around for a while.Zephyr was originally a fairy in my old story World In Grey, like these other characters I've redesigned recently:

Ohhhh, I like. The softness in the clothing & background allows the eyes to pull you right in, which - along w/ the hair - are very well detailed. Nice job. I like your choice in colors, though I might have dulled down the red just a bit. Still really good.

I just edited the picture to dull the red a little. It's something that had been bothering me for a while, but I can be quite lazy about fixing things until someone point it out. I always make eyes as detailed as I can for a portrait, since that's where I want people to look. Thank you for the feedback.

No problem. I get the same way about my own works. I've just hit a point where I realized what I know & where I need work. Begun the long process of re-evaluating & re-educating myself. It sucks, but is necessary. Your image is very nice though.
