Description This the biggest screen print I've ever attempted. Each wing is about 16.5 inches tall and something like 9 inches wide. Each wing had a screen for the halftones (pearl white) and one for the line work (gold).

Because I had the acetates printed at a printing shop the line work and the halftones weren't printed right, something I didn't realize until too late. The result was that the it was impossible to line up the line work with the halftones perfectly. Oh well, so I won't do that again. But it is handy to have something printed on a 11x17 acetate (kindof expensive though, ack). So there was a lot of hand painting afterward.

I had trouble crossing the seam at the sleeve but I knew that was going to happen and that there's little to be done for it. Still, it turned out better than I thought it would.

So as an experiment in largeness and crossing seams I consider the result satisfactory.

Here's a link to a larger hires version (it's big though, so be warned). LINK

I don't have chatting program at the moment.

I could do the wings in various different colours. Basically, if I have the inks I can print them.

wow! well done, that's some work! and you wouldn't really notice the fact that it's not lined up perfectly. Not unless you knew already, if you know what I mean.

Thanks. I guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist, although, I have been trying to accept that most people don't see the flaws that I see. But, in this case, that guy did screw me up for sure. Hopefully, if I do it again, I'll fix those issues. Thanks again.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. It is the first time that I've tried to print something that I wanted to be "beautiful". So far so good, heh.
