Description
A lioness who currently was away from the pride because she had new cubs. They all just walked directly on the road infront of us.
South Africa, Eastern Cape, Kariega Game Reserve.

At first I thought she was really skinny then I saw that she had new cubs and I was like 'Oh, that's why

Hm, you might be right there. Her cubs were not very old yet, so she might have lost weight due to birth and not being back with the pride yet? But I am certainly no expert. But I do know there is plenty of prey they can hunt in the reserve.
