I like them because it looks like a feathered dinosaur. Like it got stuck in that evolutions stage and never morphed into a modern bird. I would love to have one as a pet.

Genesis is the closest thing I have to a griffin character but I rarely draw him anymore [or any of my own characters for that matter oops] though I've made his birdy bits more bearded vulture-y because they're really cool birds. Your birdies inspired me to take a break from jojo's and draw more birds tbhΒ (Β΄Οο½β )

Aww, I don't think I've ever had a griffin char. I've redrawn my old fursona as one as a potential revamp, but it never followed through. Maybe I'll make some sense out of bird feet and legs and get doodlin. And awww, really? I do like how some of my birds came out TuT Others not so much, but they're a fun challenge! Bearded vultures are my next project <3 I should probably finish the snowy owl papercrafty thing I never finished...
