What would happen if I grabbed its arm? Would it swing me all the way to the sun?
Ah, yes, this is art piece amazing. I love that face too, it's like it's daring me to fly with it.
I'd take the risk of flying with a Flygon any day.

thanks for showing me that, it's great! now i have a couple more questions if you don't mind answering ...
how often do you erase and readjust your original outline sketch? i find i often need to do it, like really often, and i was wondering whether you get better with practice at getting right the first time.
just my curiosity, but in the video when you drew patches on another sheet, were you testing how to mix colours?

Honestly, it all depends on what you're looking for, or on how used you are to drawing the character itself. I've drawn Flygon many times, so I know its proportions and shapes by heart. It's an easy thing for me to draw, so most of the time, if I have the pose in mind, I don't need to erase at all, because it comes out like I expected on my first try. But if I haven't thought of a clear pose, or if I'm not used to the character, it can take much longer and involve lots and lots of erasing.
For example, in the Morgana sketch here > sta.sh/01w7815xo0cv it took me over 5 different tries (and lots of erasing) to find a pose that I liked, because I have only seen a couple of official images of that character and I don't know anything about its personality/story, so I can't take inspiration from those to create a new pose.
I was actually painting patches of colour to see how well they contrasted with the character Although I also use those sheets of recycling paper to test new colours, clean marker nibs, or try out colour mixes, like you pointed out. Since markers are highly transparent, you can create new colour mixes from small selections of colours - I for example only have 24 markers so I don't have any browns, but if I paint with a dark orange and then use a light blue or mid gray on top of it, it turns brown.
