-Freedom-
A character who had long forgotten his name, or his origin, lives deep in a forest of a hidden dungeon. He knows not when he came to be, or where he is, or who even made him. His user disappeared one day, a long long time ago, and from then, he had been living in this forest, surrounded by many powerful monsters. Shelter was scarce, supplies were dangerously low, and he had only a few hundred throwing stars. He was glad he was classes as a SinDit, for he needed to use his throwing stars and mana against monsters to escape, for without a user, a character would never be able to gather EXP. With only a few potions, he would never fill his HP meter to the fullest, only enough to keep him from dying if he did get injured from the monsters. His scars were evident, and all around his body, never leaving him for he could not recover himself enough to make the wounds fade away. Everyday was a challenge for him. With his dagger, he could forage for some rare supplies, but without a user, the drop rate was incredibly low, so he lived hand to mouth. By estimation, he had survived for years on the very little in his inventory, but like all living things, real or virtual, it only takes so long before it fades away. One day as he was escaping from a group of unusually powerful monsters with a strong magical attack that his Dark Sight could not avoid, one of them, a Drake managed to fire a lucky shot which decreased his tiny amount of life to almost nothing. The character gasped and fell, rolling down a hill to the back of a boulder. There, he panted from the old wounds that were reopened, including the fresh ones that had just been inflicted onto him. As his life began to slip out of him, his vision blurred, and with what sight he had left, he held up his hand, only to see the green of the scenery. His eyelids fluttered, and he thought to himself,
So this is where I'll sleep forever, huh. I only wished.. to see him again..
Then up above, the monsters made loud sounds of fear and panic and dispersed away from him. He slowly turned his head a little to see what happened. A bright light, glaring itself to the dying eyes, was floating down to him. The light grew dimmer, and a figure stepped out. A young boy, no older than 12, came out and smiled at him.
'Who.. who are you..?'
The boy smiled and gleefully replied ' You silly! I leave for some business and I come back, only to find you've forgotten me? You silly, you!'
The voice seemed to touch something at the back of the characters mind, it was warm and bright and familiar. He forced his body to open the closing eyelids and focus his vision to the person. The black hair outlining the face, the familiar clothes, the smile of his that was like a sun.
'U-user.. you came back..'
