hey, iΒ΄ve seen your other drawings and if you want an advice try using diferent kings of pencil in a same drawing
like a 2B or a M-pencil for sketching and light shading , HB for medium shading, and 6B for really dark shading
and for the blending there is special kinds of "pencil" that works greatly
itΒ΄s an advice of someone who have tested it some time ago and its working amazingly well for me since then
you will see , when get into it you can get 100% better

(and scanners sometimes sucks indeed, the same happens to me when I have light shadings)
