Zilla grew up in a poor family in the city's suburbs. They were also homeless so they lived in an underground sewer. Her dad worked as a drug dealer and her mother was a prostitute. Because of the environment she grew up in Zilla grew excellent street smarts and in her teen years she was involved in gang activities and shopliftings to earn money for herself. She worked part time jobs until she saved enough to go to the military, where she had an excellent physical and combat training, as well as proper education and arms handling. She lost a dare where she had to use a bazooka with no equipment, after which she ended up losing most of her hearing on one ear and was dropped from her military service for her disability.

When she returned, she recieved devastating news about her father ended up in jail after which her mother commited suicide. Now completely alone, Zilla projects it through partying, drinking, hook ups, fist fights and drugs. She got into a nasty fist fight that had all of her teeth badly damaged she had to replace with fake, fluorescent teeth. She now works as a bouncer in the ghetto's nightclub called Swamp.
