HURRAY another guardian.This is manticore for Bezlai I really hope I got what you were looking for. I know you asked for some neutrals so I did make the yellow easily appealing if you just follow that hue and desaturate it to a more neutral brown! I hope its ok! let me know!
For everyone else. This is the updated version I announced in my journal and the new Africa head. so enjoy!
OH also the palette thing is a deluxe option she got cause she one first place in my contest. its not standard.

HURRAY!Β I was REALLY nervous cause the whole theme seemed very contemporary and like liony/old world but when i looked at the ref it was like bright things it was very none of those things? plus the leopard stuff you wanted made it a no go to do a rust palette. I decided it wasn't a good idea to make it too brown or the colors would just fall flat and be generic copying every manticore ever. I thought the same for making the stinger literal. So this was what I came up with. I wanted to follow your references and interpretations more than what a manticore is and give you something unique that wasn't 100% defined by the theme.Β I am really glad that you like it ;u;

UHHHH she asked for a manticore theme, no wings, not a lion like a uh leopard more, more lean? and sent me some feather and jewelry options that weren't the same like regal or beast theme as a lion so I had to figure out how to make it a manticore, a leopard ish, and like... appealing all at the same time without excluding any of the parts. This design was VERY difficult. She could ask for anything so she asked for the addition of the color swatches which is like a extra 5 dollars xD like nothing major. Just a medium design that I kinda buffed to high level to make it work better.
