I really like this... though I'm not sure if I know enough to properly articulate why. It's got a "rough" feel to it, and the natural imperfections of the pencil stroke are visible... which make this really striking, in my opinion. I might have just made up some words or incorrect terms, but... I hope you know where I'm going with this. It's a really cool picture, and it has a great feel to it. Thanks for posting.

Very simple, but the way you've shaded the leaf makes it look brittle and dry like an autumn leaf- well done.

This is a nicely done drawing!
I especially admire how realistic it looks, considering this is drawn from life.
The shape of the leaf and the shadings are great.
I also like the color of the paper very much - I find it very fitting to the leaf itself.
I am more of a "smudger", so I can't really critique your shading technique. But I think, however, that you couldn't drawn a bit more precisely and there could've been some more contrast. But that's probably just a matter of taste.
Well done and keep it up!

I like the simplicity and the delicacy inwhich you captured the subject.

However, some coloured pencils in the sketch would have helped make this piece more visually attractive. Also, an artist's description is an important part of the art.
