Actually, (though he is kinda nuts from the power he is gaining from the Fearlings) he's expressing his ways wanting to have like some kind of son or daughter since he used to be a general named Kozmotis Pitchiner who had a daughter, so that he won't be alone...OR SOMETHING. His past is pretty interesting.

I don't know. Β Well, we do know that she's Pitch's daughter, all grown up. Β I can only imagine what having to grow up without her father, to have him taken over by the beings he taught her to fear most... it was harsh.
