The green thing? It's something Amaterasu has. I think the one from Okamiden doesn't have it but it is something that gives its powers to Ammy or something like that... It's like a green plate covered on fire...

Okami is a very cool game with Awesome graphics and even awesome music.
The shading on this one really matches the original-brush-styled game, i love it
But one thing bugs me:
The Flames are a bit dark...
