Because of DeviantArt's new terms, I'm pulling all my original images, leaving only 'thumbnails' here. You can find the real picture here .Pangaea: Ooo, look at that drama!
It's young darklord Rylerion from my story Pangaea [link] again, along with his one friend - Lylacra, the white ylvain. Having had enough of the hatred and fear people show him because of his alien heritage, he turns his powers to darkness.
They don't like him? Fine. Then they'll die.
Media used: Corel Photopaint 9 all the way through. Wacom tablet.

Well, you wouldn't be the first to do so. 'Wolf' just seems to be the first thing that springs into mind when people se a canine creature.
Unfortunately there's not a whole lot to be read - only a few written snippets and scenes. As stated on the Pangaea website, it's a work in progress, not a written story.

This is quite possibly one of my favorite pieces you've done of Rion; I just really love the effect of the creatures rising from the dust.
That and evil!Rion is just yummy.

Very ghostlike appearance to this image. The horse and rider look wonderful, and the pale canine is a very nice touch. He acts almost like a sort of beacon or leading light for the whole image.

Oooh I love all the greytones and wispyness of the picture.. I like the white hound in the front, it reminds me of something I read recently about how the houds of death were white, but I dunno if thats what you meant with this hound
