An aside from my nitpicky comment. I love you art and I have been looking forward to these characters in a comic/book/movie/etc for a long time! I love it!!!!

I feel like I;m being nitpicky, but here goes. With a husband who is an Afghanistan War veteran and after hearing stories that would melt your ears off, I get the feeling that these two, who appear to be military veterans or campaigne veterans (or maybe mercs? who knows?) would be bitching about sand in places much more private than that. Or maybe bathroom facilities not up to standards that fit your liking. Sorry. I don't mean to me so picky. I just thought men would complain about more unpleasant things than what I saw.

It's for comic relief. The point is that they much rather would want to get home than heading out on yet another mission. If you will continue reading the comic in the future you will get to know that Nadir is an apprentice and coming from a rich family so he has reasons to complain about such matters like sand getting in everywhere because he's used to bein squeaky clean at all times something that Jalil is making fun of here.
I hope that clears things up.
