THIS IS AMAZING! I wish I could do this... but to tell you the truth, if I could, there would probably be billions of little Hakus and Chihiros sitting around my room.

Wow.
there you go. My word of description, after months of dictionary searching and violent brainstorms I have come up with the perfect word to describe your work.
Wow.
yes, my sculpter friend looked at it and she was impressed and it took some explaining on my part to help her figure out all this cool stuff since she uses mush heavier clay for her art but she lowes your work and would comment too but she has no DevArt. You have the loyal following and loves of Kimberly and Li-Wa *bows*

Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it and I'm glad you like my work. Yes, aluminium foil is a very different material to work with, so it does take some explaining (usually demonstration) to prove that everything I do isn't made of wood or plastic.
I do have one ceramic piece in my gallery (the cheetah gryphon), and I'm very surprised that it made it out of the kiln, since it is one solid chunk of porcelain (no one had ever told me that I needed to hollow it out a bit before firing).

that's really cool, you should put the figure in front of a nice background. That would make a better picture...

ooh its so beautifull~~<3 im not sure if haku had scales O_o I might have been fury like the dragon from never ending story :3 he seemed like it~~,3 but the scales give is so much charm.. so clever ^^ you make these out of tinfoil!

thx for the comment. Haku did have scales, you can see them shine during Chihiro's flashbacks, and near the end where his scales blow off (looking like flower petals). I think his face was fuzzy, though (and he's a canine too, like the dragon from NES, makes him much friendlier ^_^).
Tinfoil! *dies*

Sugoi! Sammy-chan, this is truly amazing! I know, I'm actually typing this while telling you the same thing at the same time, but hey, at least you have written proof now, hai?
I'm still so awed at how you can put such detail into these things - the attention to the eyes, all those spots! and the lines on his under-belly and legs!! WOW!! :awed: The tinfoil is great for his tail, all that texture!
Gah! i don't know what else to say now. 'Sugoi' and 'kawaii' seem the most appropriate words for description.
Hehe, sometimes I wonder how you manage the time for your art and classes, but I hope you continue with your foil-art.
Sugoi!!

Believe me, I kill myself over the details. Haku took me weeks and weeks to finish...but I do it to myself, and I get rewarded by all my effort.
I don't even know how I manage time for my art...at least the coursework is light for now, but I know I'll always have time for my art. Now, if they would only let me take an art class...
