This fellow was probably the first expensive (or at least I thought so at the time) pony of a fanspecies that I ever commissioned from someone. x3 I fell in love with the Time Weavers the first time I saw them, especially the males. I love their clock hand wings, they are mesmerizing. ;w; I can't believe it took me so long to draw him and even longer to color him. xwx I'm hopeless. I hope to get some more of this species at some point. ;w;

Residence: Filly Delphia, when not on a mission.

Personality: Serious and distant, Olethrus is not one to make friends, as his job comes first before all things. He rarely cracks a smile if ever, and takes great pride in his work. When not working he seems slow and sluggish but when on a mission his movements are enthusiastic and energetic, he feels as though he is an unstoppable conductor of destruction, however even while doing so he never cracks a smile. The only other thing he seems to enjoy is collecting antiques and relics, he has a very impressive collection in his home in Filly Delphia. He doesn't like when others try to touch his antiques.
Main Interests: Time, fulfilling his duties, collecting really old things.

Olethrus is a special species of pony known as a Time Weaver. These Time Weavers are always Pegasai, aside from their Master, Gears of Time, whom is an Alicorn. They need the wings so they are able to get around faster and be able to fix rifts in time that may but up in the sky. Olethrus is a male, and thus his duties are to watch over concrete moments in time, when specific things happen. His particular talent is destruction, but not just for the sake of destroying but rather for the sake of renewal. If an old tree dies and falls over, he will watch over it as it rots to be sure it does so at the correct rate of time, and so once it's finally rotted away other Time Weavers can come oversee the growth of new trees. This is just a small task to him however and the kind of mission he is given the most often, he would prefer something bigger, more challenging. Erupting dormant volcanoes that need to renew themselves to make new land, crushing mountains that haven't eroded at the correct pace into flat plains, and speeding up forest fires so the inevitable is done swiftly and efficiently to make room for regrowth. When he is completing one of these large missions is when he feels the most alive, when he is causing the most destruction as he possibly can, he feels like a conductor of a symphony.

Any normal pony who sees Olethrus just sees a normal black and white Stallion, this normal looking Stallion lives in Filly Delphia under the name Antique Annul and is known as a collector of antiques. His house is full of them and he takes great pride in them, often souvenirs of some of his most interesting missions. He's also been known to visit antique shows to buy rare relics he likes, but his most prized ones will always be the ones from his missions. Despite how much he enjoys his job and his antiques, he never smiles. He mostly keeps to himself and doesn't care that much for other ponies, especially if they try to lay a hoof on his antiques.
