I'm sure most of my watchers don't know the Rogress of Arc Rise Fantasia; in which case you simply must view their badassery here (does not include Allwise, whose very existence is something of a spoiler, so don't ask me about that): [link]

Who's your favorite? I like Urgula's Rogress design the best, but I really, really like how Kudoan's human design came out. 'Sides, anyone with the "Logos of Wit" is good in my book.

As for the piece itself...it was fun while I was sketching it all out, but things went awry when I was coloring @n@ I was trying out some new techniques with my copic markers, you see. This is one thing that makes me wish real-life pieces had an "Undo" button, ahaha....

Most of them have scars or injuries of some sort, being warriors...Squill, on the other hand, has surgical scars.... I had initially pictured Urgula as Hot-Blooded and was forced to redraw entirely when I found out that he was more of a Stoic, but that wasn't so bad. I messed up on Banchu, who is supposed to look very badass despite his age (I debated on whether or not to give him white hair).

But of course my biggest regret was my decision to make Allwise a redhead. ;A; Oh, you know, I had been considering a nice icy blue, I thought a deep crimson would be interesting since Allwise technically IS blue. But then it got messed up so terribly ARRRRGH not to mention that the dark color completely blots out the texture of his hair and I had to do some quick thinking and PRETEND HE ISN'T THERE AND THAT EVERYTHING IN THIS PICTURE WENT SUPER WELL OKAY owo)b

It is my personal head-canon that Girtab is always arguing with Allul, that Mashgar is always running off and getting himself in trouble, and that Papirusagu is related to the Meridian royal family in some manner. "Imperial Majesty", come on.

I hope I haven't single-handedly spawned too many Rogress-related crack pairings by drawing this. Then again, I have half a mind to challenge my frand Wilson to come up with the weirdest one possible.
