Description
A period correct mid-1880's bustle petticoat to go over the collapsible wire bustle that I made.

I used period pattern images and pictures of surviving petticoats to adapt a Victorian 5 gore skirt pattern to what I needed. The pattern used only 4.5 yards of fabric with very few remnants left over.

Also, I'm not wearing the matching chemise and corset that goes with it as they seem to have wandered off for the moment.
