Description
Original pencils by Vincent-Strife, so go and praise her before you say anything to me, as she really needs to log on to some good surprises when she gets back. It's here: [link]I hope I lived up to her great skill with my colors.
Anyhow, because of this, I finally watched some Armada and got the headshot in the background from a screenshot that I took off of Youtube.
And btw, does anybody here know how to color a sword? I took several wild guesses on this and am not sure if I did a good job of it.
I always stuck tightly to the notion that the human G1 Starscream would be either Asian or Middle Eastern, maybe because if he did exist as a human, he'd be my older brother (glad he's not or else we'd have a bad case of siblign rivalry), so I applied the idea here and gave the Armada guy dark skin as well.
Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers and I don't own Starscream, but I really wish I did.

i think it was good the twins were funny and it was sad in some parts of the movie.

For a begginer this is pretty good. I would however clean up the picture to give it more of a professional feel. Also the blue background has to go, it takes up way too much of the focal point. Nice attention to detail, but looks choppy, like i said needs to be cleaned up. Keep trying and never give up!

Ouch. Difficult. I've never critiqued anything like this before. I think it's really good... the colours are vibrant, and there aren't too many. The clothes have creses that look in the right place. The only thing odd is the sword (as you said in your comments), but I can't suggest how to improve it as I know nothing about this style of art.

true, true, once I figured out how to do belts and such. I mean the hair I learned off of the second angel pic and a tutorial, but he had a helluva lot of trinkets on him.

what is it about Starscream that girls seem to like? I just seen so many fangirls for him lately.

With G1, he's relatable and unique for a Seeker (gray face and helmet instead of white face adn black helmet) and extremely cute, but I'm not a fangirl as much as a girl who sees him as a brother. As for Armada, I'm not sure other than he looks really cute since I've not seen that much of Armada.

Yeah ok but he's a whiny, traitorous coward who runs away the first sign that he can't handle a situation. Never thought girls liked that kind of weak and untrustworthy kind of person.

He was also once a scientist and I can relate to someone who was one thing long ago but abandoned that and became something else since I've done that myself. It's the half and half thing and I myself am a science (Biology and chemistry, to be exact) person. Also, he's quite brilliant but has his flaws, and we like characters like that. Then there's the part where his helmet is lighter than the average Seeker's and his face darker. I can also relate to that because the other Chinese people have called me 'fair-haired' and I've darker skin than most of them as well.
But that's just me and how I wouldn't glomp him but would have a bad case of sibling rivalry with him.

Yeah I remembered I liked the scientist aspect of him in that flashback episode of the show where he's shown to be real good friends with Skyfire (Jetfire). I have the new toys from the Classics range where the figures look almost exactly like the G1 cartoon versions of those two characters and I stood them up together on my desk as I watched that episode again
