use a really soft one. I used 9b then went over it with a harder one l

Thank you! I really wasn't using any special techniques though. All I did was do it in many many light layers rather than pressing hard right off the bat. That way you can control well deep the drawing gets.

Ahahaha... I'm so flattered! But don't worry, when I was at your stage work which I saw also made me want to quit. But after I started, the work just kept getting better so don't worry! Just be confident in what you do and decide after you finish the three drawings. I will be starting school in two months so if you get in you'll only be half a year behind me

Camera Cameras have their advantages in comparison to scanning sometimes. The pixelation is alot better with cameras (esp. if you have a good one)
