How about Aang from the original series when he was captured by Zhao during the Blue Spirit episode? As you can see, even Aang's feet were cemented into the ground, so he would have no chance of escape without help. Maybe you can do that with Ronin Korra while in the Empress' dungeon since I doubt they would want to take chances and it would make her incapable of escaping or resisting. What do you think?

Well you can still do that. I think what I gave you can still be a good reference but just position the chains to be higher, so you can pull that off.
Additionally, you mentioned that Ronin Korra's feet would still touch the ground, but she would be hanging from the chains when she fell asleep. I'm pretty sure Aang would have remained hanging there based on how tight those chains are, and I'm sure he would have gotten scars eventually.
Do you think you could still potentially use this as a reference? I'm sure it can still help.
