4 to 5 hours.. how long it took me to do a portrait too, lol, but it was pencil/lead-painted, not drawn by pencil. Do you think you could either help me with portraiting with tips, or (OMG) write a tutorial?

Possibly. I'm not sure there's really anything for me to disclose. I mean, I just kind of go at it in the best way I know how...I just draw what I see. I usually work from right to left in my drawings, partly so I don't smear pencil everywhere and partly because I'm right handed. In my scraps I have 4 or 5 pieces of a work in progress, and the final version in my gallery. You could check that out.
