Description
The Wall Between features two transgender people who feel stuck in their biological bodies and as if there's an invisible wall between their goals and true selves. The blue side features a trans woman who feels trapped in her masculine body, the pink side features a trans man who feels trapped in his feminine body.
The wall also has another meaning, the lines between masculinity and femininity that (nearly) every transition has. One cannot jump from a feminine body to a masculine body and vice versa. It's a journey through androgyny and along the body spectrum from masculine-feminine/feminine-masculine. When one undergoes this journey it's hard, long, and can be painful but liberating.
The hearts represent their true identities, the pink heart is obviously female and blue heart male.
They both feel trapped in the boxes society and their body has placed them in. Both feel they've been forced into these wrong boxes by their families and society.
They're nude without nips or genitals because the purpose was to show the body, I didn't want to make this NSFW because it can resonate with trans people of all ages. While it shows young adults/older teenagers for the purpose of developed bodies, you can be trans at any age, it's something you're born as, it's something that's always with you even if you don't realize it until later in life, or don't know the words. It can manifest in ways that don't directly point to dysphoria. Depression, anxiety, feelings of not belonging, it can appear as body dysmorphia or insecurities, or even manifest in eating disorders.

Just know you aren't alone, you don't have to fight this alone. There's ways to reach out for help, There's support groups online, many areas have local support groups. There's LGBTQ+ friendly therapists, trans lifelines, and many other trans people who are more than willing to talk to you. No matter if you're binary trans or nonbinary, this isn't something you have to face alone. These feelings can be scary and hard to deal with, which is why you don't have to do it alone.
