So he decides to let her go use the spaceship to destroy Sjin's farm and they meet Rythian on the way there, and Duncan asks for Rythian's help behind Kim's back but Rythian's tempted to let Kim be after what Duncan did to his apprentice...

But he agrees and all he can give him is a potion that kills her quickly

But Duncan's hesitant to give it to her so he hangs on to it until the day he HAS to give it to her.

He comes in with the needle and kims like " Dun- CAANN!!!" She screams as she is plundged with the needle

but something goes wrong with the potion so it just numbs the side of Kim's mind that she still controls s the flux goes crazy trying to protect it's host

And it trys to kill Duncan,it stabs him but before he dies he kisses her which saves her from the flux and then he dies.
