Description I did some skull sketches a while ago with promarkers. The piece came out pale and uninteresting, so I uses gray scale, and just edited the contrast in PS. I didn't sign it, so I did that quick in PS too, looks really shitty but anyways.

Looks much better now in my opinion. Hope it's in the right category ^^

Sketches: GOOD! I think the quickie sig sort of detracts from the piece. You might consider developing a slick and identifiable glyph, watermark, or signature logo. Also, when you photograph these, you should try to fill the frame as much as possible. Then you can crop the background and use PS rotate and warp transforms to adjust any strangeness in the image due to the paper moving, camera angle, barrel distortion from the camera, etc. As a final step, you can measure the work and use image size to ensure that the height and width are correct, or at least the height:width ratio is accurate for the digital image.

yeah, that would be the best I'm so sick and tired of taking photos of my stuff. Would be so much easier if I just bought a scanner! Thanks for the tips man, I'm gonna keep that in mind until next time Thanks for the comment btw

Taking photos to document your work is part of the game. The scanner is not necessarily better, unless you always keep your work small enough to fit on the bed. Stitching several scans together is no treat. A drum scanner might be the answer, but that's much too expensive. So, a lot of the time, the digital camera really is the best way to do it. You can handle that. Glad to help
