Description
They'd both been broken by the world's cruelties,pieces of themselves scattered across a thousand battlefields,
both literal and metaphorical.
But their souls called to one another through the ages,
kindred recognition in the way the tendrils of their beings curled quietly around one another,
and they found peace at last.
