"Can you not see why, young Twilight? They are chaotic, unruly race. It was by their own actions that they destroyed their homeworld. Their war has since spread across the universe, and now it has found it's way to your world. They will undoubtedly destroy Earth just as they did Cybertron. Can you not see why they must be destroyed? They are an undeserving race that is grasping for a resurrection. As long as I and my people function, they shall not get it. We harbor no ill will towards your people and your world, but interfere with our mission and all of Earth shall DIE.

So an idea for my Equestria Girls/Transformers crossover I've been thinking on for months in regards to it's end was bringing in the Quintessons as the endgame villains. Now as much I love me some Unicron, and believe me I do , me and my friend Strikerprime do feel that he's been overused the last few decades, with the Unicron trilogy and then TF Prime and now in the Movieverse (though I'm pumped to see him in full ). So I figured why not use the Quintessons?

Now the Quintessons are led by Quintessa, as you probably figured, and they are creations of Quintess Prime like they were in the Aligned Continuity (it's mentioned in the book The Covenant of Primus). They were created for the purpose of helping Cybertronians, and what ultimately happened is they went full on Ultron. Though at first they felt that in order to aid Cybertronians effectively, they had to control them which in turn led to what Cybertronians know as the Quintesson War. After the Quintessons lost the war and were driven off Cybertron, they came to the conclusion the Transformer race was one that was ultimately doomed. And thus they began to preare for their new mission: the complete destruction of the Cybertronian race. As in WIPE THEM OUT FROM EXISTENCE.
