Hi I am from Project Comment. www.deviantart.com/projectcomm…

This is a really well done piece, I love how you captured stone/cement giving way to new life.

Really like the depth it is so well done, i love how you choose focus to display the depth as though this were a photograph. Only suggestion would have been to have the very back of the shoe up in the air a bit more in focus to better tie the foreground and background focus.

Not sure if you meant for it but the flower seems out of place style wise to the rest of the scene. While the rest is very detailed in texture the flower is a bit simpler. If you meant that it is great as it puts emphasis on the flower and provides an interesting combination of styles. The flower could use a touch more depth otherwise to tie it into the rest of the scene as it feels a tad flat when compared to the rest of the image.

The specs of dust floating in the shaft of light is a real nice touch, it is a detail not many usually go into but you worked it in well.

The stone/cement texture is some of the best of seen, so much detail in this part it is very well done.

Thank you for your reply. I haven't thought of adjusting the shoe but now that you mention it there is something to be done with it. Next time I'll also try to incorporate the things you mentioned and scan over it when I'm done to make sure everything fits! Thanks again!

That depth is extremely impressive! I had to take a double look just to know that it wasn't real. Great work!

thanks! I didn't really think the depth is as good as you say it is though... you give me too much credit XD

This is an awesome piece of art. Dandelions really are remarkable creatures that gives the world their sunshine even when concrete covered streets is the only thing that surrounds them. They give their smiles anyway : ) You've really captured their magical side

This style is stunningly beautiful. It's a still life, yet so dynamic because of the person walking forward in the background, played against the specks in the air. Great composition!

it would make sense if they were beside a building out of the way of foot traffic, but i mean, i've seen a sidewalk with something like this down here.
