Ezio and Orion. I've never drawn Orion before but he's my only lion OC and he's a black lion with glowing specks on his fur that look like stars. In my story, he's a human character, but I didn't make him anthropomorphic in this drawing to represent that because I feel having him as just a giant lion gives a more fantasy feeling.

This is older!Ezio. He's blind in one eye because he gets his face slashed when he and Julio (character I have never drawn yet but someday I will make a ref) are attacked by aggressive disease survivors (The virus in my story is usually fatal, but those who survive are never the same again and become aggressive)

I was originally going to color this, as I've noticed it's a pretty common technique to paint in greyscale and then add color through layer filters, buuuut I couldn't get anything to look right so I just left it as black and white. I don't think that's a technique for me, I prefer to paint 100% in color
