When people first meet Filia, she may come off as a super friendly person. But beware, this is sort of a "fake friendliness." She sees no harm in befriending people if she has something to gain deeming her to be self-centered. She always puts what she wants first before anything else. Not only that she has a sarcastic/sassy side to her. If someone said something stupid or stated the obvious, Filia is not afraid to use sarcasm to call them out. She's also easily distracted and has a short attention span. When a person or a conversation doesn't interest her, her mind will wander off. She's not trying to be rude... even though it totally is. She also has this giant pride and ego. She absolutely hates being wrong and will often deny her mistakes. Because of this, she has trust issues, which is why she puts up a fake facade.

Though she has many flaws, Filia is actually a very sociable person. She has this sort of charismatic charm that can let her talk to almost anyone. Even though it is somewhat fake to some degree. However, once you get to know Filia and she deems you as someone you can trust, she is very loyal and trustworthy. Any secret you tell her will go to her grave.

History:
Filia grew up in the Kingdom of Atlas where both her parents worked for the Schnee Dust Company. Her parents wanted her to also work for the company, but she wasn't really into that "nerdy" stuff. So she would play hooky during her studies. One thing that she really liked to play with was a yo yo that her friend gave her. She liked how the yo yo would spin and soon learned various tricks. This was probably one of the only things that kept her interest for a long period of time. As she grew up, her parents became more frustrated that she would rather play than study. But Filia felt that she wouldn't be interested than working for a dust company. Finally, during her early teenage years, Filia got involved with the wrong crowd. She began to work with gangs in order to steal some dust for themselves. It was rather simple esecially since her parents worked for the Dust Company. She continued this life style for a while until detectives were slowly cracking down on them. One time they were trying to escape, they were attacked by Grimms. Scared, Filia began to throw her yo yo at the Grimm, but that only seemed to anger it. She was then saved by a hunter. He just so happened to be one of the detectives working on the missing dust case. Before the hunter disappeared, he told her that a yo yo would make a pretty sick weapon and that she can do better than just "stealing petty dust". Filia took that heart (and she sort of develop a crush on the hunter), and decided to do better. She began to work with the detective and crack down on other gangs. Afterwards, the detective had to leave for a new place. Filia was a bit sad but the hunter smiled at her and told her that she would make a great huntress. She thought about it for a while and decided to give it a go. She begged her parents to let her attend an academy, even telling them that she will study and train hard. After large amounts of begging (and whinning), her parents improved her yo yos by making it dust powered and letting her attend Pharos Academy so she can become a huntress.
