Ouch. I'm sorry that your family is still feeling that way about the fact that you're happy and in a healthy relationship. Maybe with time they'll change their ways. At least you're willing to say "I'm not giving up part of who I am to make you happy", though. A lot of people aren't.

I've been doing that for like four years now and I decided I didn't want to do it anymore. This makes me happy so I'm hanging onto it. Mom did apologize for dad this morning, so that helped a lot. She doesn't feel quite the same way thankfully.
