Description Shinozaki Gitsune is a Japanese Yokai monster folklore in a book "Baiou Zuihitsu" written in Edo era.

It is a kind of Bakegitsune fox.

In Shinozaki village, country of usashi, there were 4 bakegitsune foxes living.
One traveling business man came near the foxes. The man shouted at the foxes as a revenge of all the things that these foxes done to local people. Foxes were freaked out and ran away from him.
In the evening, the business man visited his friend's house, but the friend was about to go out to a funeral of his wife died recently. So the business man stayed in his friend's house until he's back. Soon after the friend went out, a ghost of dead wife of his friend appeared in front of the business man and bit him. The man freaked out, run around with bleeding arm. The friend came back from the funeral and saw the business man freaking out, so the friend throw water at him to wake him up. The business man calmed down and realised it was done by the foxes.

I find this yokai lady to resemble more of a cat, rather than a fox,   but her depiction is beautiful and stylish still.
And her story is an intriguing one.
