Oh gosh I'm so proud of this piece! I was worried it wouldn't turn out like I wanted but it's better than I had imagined. ;w; I'm not a perfectionist so there's little mistakes everywhere BUT I DON'T CARE, looks pretty from afar <3This is a commission from my good friend hida for who is also my favorite artist! So this piece was extra special to me~
I then had spots in the background for a YCH, and those who got the spots were
shemotter Shinigamisquirrel pixelthegryphon DarkWolfNana Sorako GabrielRose and then a simplified version of my character, Ava, on the right!

I love this persona! Is she based off of an Orchid Mantis?
The Orchid Mantis is one of my all time favorite animals ever. I've kept them many times as pets, and I always regard them as some of the sweetest buggies ever. Many years ago I had one named Azalea who was so tame she sat peacefully on my hand at the Renaissance Faire long enough for my hand to fall asleep. She was very calm - a lot of mantises will react and stare at nearby motion, but Azalea rarely did that - only if a very brightly colored person walked by.
*sigh* if only there was a way to make them live for 20 years instead of just 1.
