Call on me, and I will answer.Gift art for my bud, *VexedLupine . I was going to color it, but I felt that it would look better in black and white for whatever reason. I tried making all of the noise in the piece small and unobtrusive.

Mmm. I love the angle. You did a perfect job with the eye, nose, and mouth, something that I struggle with but you pulled it off amazingly.

Interesting how you made the breath twist and turn as it goes up into the sky. I think you should color it anyway just to see how it would come out. You never know.

I'm glad that you found it interesting. I was originally going to draw the breath as winding Celtic knotwork, but I sort of got lazy and just did this. I'm sort of glad that I didn't, though, because that's the only really unrealistic part of this piece, and it probably would've ruined it had I made it into real knotwork.
Yeah, I probably should color it, if for no other reason than to practice. If I decide to color it, I'll probably replace the breath with something more realistic.

Ohhh very, very nice. The expression is wonderful and I absolutely LOVE how you portrayed the howl. I would like to see a colored version of it....perhaps you would allow me to? I still need to find my damn tablet pen, or get a new one >_>

Thanks! I actually didn't do to well with the howl, from a realistic sense. I made it look like he's wailing or something. But I'm glad that you like it!
Yes, you can color it, if you wish. Tablet pens shouldn''t all that expensive to replace (I hope... *takes good care of his, but you never know...*).
