Description
Second in my series of Harry Potter drawings. The first one is here5x7 Bristol smooth paper
2B Mechanical Pencil and blending stumps. I really need to start using the regular pencils and utilize the different shades available. But I am so lazy to sharpen them and I somehow manage with 2B mechanical pencil most of the times.
I usually draw portraits with really dark shadows and this one did not have much. It was a challenge and I almost threw it away and my wife had to convince me to finish it.
Next one in line is snape(my favorite character) and I should be able to finish it in a day or two since I have a long weekend ahead of me.

First off, absolutely stunning work. I'm so impressed with your rendition and the gaze is very intense it's almost frightening. I only really have one thing to suggest:
The biggest thing I would work on is the glasses. They're shiny metal but the rims look kind of flat, especially on the bottom parts of the circles, where there would be a little depth. I don't know what picture you used, so I'm not exactly sure where there are shadows or lack of, but on the right side of the face, would there be a shadow under the rim on the skin? It's your call though!
In parting words, I love this drawing nonetheless and I think you did a fantastic job with the shading and the contrast between darks and lights. Well done.

His gaze is really intense, I love how you placed the shading and lighting at the eye part. It's like his eyes focus my attention, even if he isn't straight looking at me.
But I have to say that the glasses look a bit unrealistic. It's probably because the lighting is missing. It rather looks as if there isn't glass at all, like the plain frame. I know, glasses are difficult to draw.
Howsoever, this drawing is a wonderful artwork with great contrast and wonderful details.
