Yes, yes, I know, the thing with Papyrus taking Sans' place and having his jacket is an old hat, but please hear me out on this one, okay? X'DI had the idea for quite some time now; what would happen if Sans jumps between Papyrus' and Frisk's battle in a Genocide run?
I moved the idea back and forth, from the 'canon' Undertale and Monstertale and today I actually make that part of MonsterTale.
And NO, this wouldn't be the Genocide run; it would be the SECOND Genocide run.
Yup, you heard me right, and you know what else? The first Genocide run has an effect on the second! A MAJOR one even!
Wanna hear what the differences are? Yes? Alright; here they are!
In Genocide 1:
- Everybody you could kill in Undertale on a Genocide run can be killed aswell.
- You can kill Grillby, Monsterkid, Alphys, Burgerpants and all other minor Characters that you COULDN'T kill in the actual Game; they won't attack you and you have free EXP.
- You change physically (Duh, with the horns and stuff)
- It is mostly the same as the Genocide run in the Game.
In Genocide 2:
- Sans saves Payprus, because he remembers the last Genocide run.
- Everything is like in Genocide 1 BUT ... everybody you could kill with ease has an own battle; everybody fights back.
What that means exactly? Well ... you can fight Grillby, Monsterkid, etc.
'Special' fights are, for example, Alphys. You can kill her with ease, while she's trying to evacuate everybody. In Genocide 2 however she stands up, puts on a kinda Mecha-Robotarmor and actually fights you. You can also fight MTT Neo aswell; without one shotting him X'D
So yeah ... Genocide 2 is a Genocide run on Hard Mode.
... I know, I go into too much detail, but it's just so much fun thinking about this kinda stuff X'D

IcyFlame hasn't contacted me in a WHILE about Nightmares and Daydreams. I can at least make music now. If you could have one character get a MonsterTale-ified theme, what would it be, and what instruments would you want?

And you want to make music NOW? Well ... I'm not sure, but I guess Papyrus, since he was the very first one who got the Design and it's thanks to him that I made MonsterTale in the first place!
And I dunno ... maybe something with guitars? I dunno, I'm not a composer, but MonsterTale is more like ... well ... Monster-like and stuff ... I'm bad at explaining sorry ...

Ah, okay. Yeah, Icy's been very inactive for some time, but don't worry, they'll come back X'D
It would be awesome if you could 'change' Bonetrousle a bit, you know? Not making a just the Song as a Guitar Cover or something, and you can throw in whatever you want aslong as it sounds like you are really fighting a monster, like in RPGs!
I think some orchestra instruments would have a good sound too. Just, like I said, play a bit around and look what sounds good :3

Yeah. You know, I taught myself a trick. Sometimes, if you play song melodies backwards (as in, the first note is the last and vice versa) you get a totally new melody that's pretty jammin'. So I may use that some.

Heh, thanks. I'm working on it now! I'm using fan-made sheet music as a reference just to get the basic melody done. I'll run the instrument choice by you (send you a link of the wav file online) and see if you like it before I work on the original bits.

I have a Tumblr, but Tumblr doesn't allow .wav files. However, I can make them into videos! If you want, you can make a MonsterTale album cover, which would benefit us both. That way, I can use my Tumblr Blog (Tumblog?) to make a full remix of every song in the Undertale OST, made for MonsterTale!

It's awesome that you have such ethusiasm, but I don't really want to make official Music, sorry. I like it more if people make fanmusic themselves, like they did with the other AUs. It's always awesome to see what people can come up with ;D

I'm encountering... kind of an issue with the software, a bug. It's really hindering my ability to make this work... one part plays super quiet for some reason.
