It was a big day for the students of Avery Woods High School. Everyone was dumbstruck, as they realized that Cornell High, the High School that never loses, well, lost. The basketball team had been beaten. Not by far, mind you, but the whole game was very even. Just this was unaccustomed for the always winning students. And maybe it was this, that made them so unsure of themselves, that it gave their enemy team the edge it needed.

To Avery Woods High, it was an amazing feeling. They had beaten the giant, the one everyone was scared of. And they were glad. There had been rumors, of humiliating pictures and celebrations, that the losers had to deal with. No one had ever said anything officially, but everyone knew it - losing here would mean getting bound and gagged.

And so, Avery Woods High was prepared. Not just the basketball team, but also the volleyball and the soccer team members were approached, of paying the price for losing. They first laughed it off - how should a single team be able to do anything against a whole school.

But the students of Cornell High saw it differently. It was deeply shameful that their team had lost. In shock and horror, the basketball team members realized that they their own fans were in favour of punishing them. And the other teams too, as a warning of what would happen, if they didn't keep up.

And it was a high price. The members of the teams had to dress up in suits and ties, were bound and gagged, and sat in a bus, paid by the sports budget. And they would visit Avery Woods High, showing their respect, unable to do anything but be ashamed.

And it was a great day, as not only were Avery High students here, but also guests from other schools. Who had been beaten, and humiliated by Cornell High.
