First, this is beautifully elegant! And kind of sad at the same time. But those shoes were definitely taken off purposely....perhaps the owner is splashing in puddles? Hehe...anyway....
Now I am wondering, have you ever recorded your Photoshop session in a tutorial-like fashion? I am interested to see how you use CS4. I'm really bad at Photoshop ~_~ and most of the tutorials on Youtube are of really crappy art....anyway, if you haven't, maybe you should think about doing one! If you have, link me?

In miniature, it looks like photorealistic.
In big, it's a very beautiful picture. The coloring is so smooth, the water on the wood very impressive.

actually, there's no such word as haruame as far as i know. there is shunu and harusame, though, which are written with the same characters (春雨). harusame is a dish though, so i suggest はるさめ
