Sorry for the lack of response! Studies started and I had to go to the city where my university is for a few days, but now I'm back with so awaited (lol) Cloudjumper plush! If I thought that small Toothless plush was a lot of work... I was sooooo wrong! This guy was about 1 week of work, mostly because I ended up hand sewing a lot of details. Hopefully next time it'll be done faster, because now I know that pattern is quite good and doesn't need big updates or changes.Cloudjumper is a commission for awesome
He measures 38cm/15 inches tall (a bit taller with horn/head plates), 100cm/39 inches long and has a freaking big 140cm/55 inches wingspan, made out of Camel, Vanilla, Rust, Tiffany and Mocha minky.
Now I know I priced him wrong, summarizing all those materials, time (about 40 hours) etc. he should cost almost twice more xD Let's say it was a special discount for my very first customer though. I've added Stormcutter/Cloudjumper pricing to my price list, remake will cost way more to better compensate my work (and hopefully avoide people from asking for him too often xd)

This is just amazing! I got a plush Cloudjumper from someone on Etsy a few years back, but they took forever to make it and when they finally did his head was lopsided. You're so talented, being able to make this!

I'm making custom plush toys. I'll be taking 10-15 commissions every 3-4 months. I don't do any deadlines but if you really need your plushie faster you may talk to me about it. I can't guarantee I'll be able to make your plush faster though. If you need a plush for a special occassion, it'll better if you order it at least 2 months before that date.
My plushies are made out of minky fabric. It's super soft, cuddly and has a really good quality. I also can use faux fur or leather if needed. Eyes and other small details will be machine embroidered.
I'm highly interested in sewing dragons of any kind, other mythical creatures, Pokemon, Digimon, creatures from games, movies (but no Disney movies please) etc.

This is absolutely stunning! Very on-model and wonderfully alive. I've been a little intimidated from plushing Cloudjumper just because of his sheer complexity, but seeing you plush him at this level so well inspires me to give it a serious try sometime soon. I also agree with others in your journal regarding him: you don't have to be popular to justify charging fair compensation for your work. A good job is a good job (f*cking amazing job in this case).

Regarding Cloudjumper plushBecause a lot of people asked about it I feel like I need to explain a few things about this plush.
I really appreciate the fact that people love my Cloudjumper so much. It was my first commission so I decided to make something impressive for a really cheap price ($150 is cheap as hell). That's how this guy born. People liked it so I priced it and put in my commission info. For the base price of $250. Now when I think about it... It's still at least twice cheaper than average price of a large, complex plushie.
I'll show you an example. Because I can't really think about any other plushie which is regularly made by at least a few artists this example will be based on pony plushies prices.
So...
-Average 15-17 inches pony plush costs $300-$500 depending on design. Basic body shape is pretty much te same for every mare pony. It needs some hand sewing because of mane, tail and ears (+horn and/or wings if unicorn, pegasus or alicorn).
