Description 💰 My Dreamborn MYO, in celebration of the current ongoing MYO event from our group~!
It's open until November 18th, go here for more info ! It's ending soon, and might be your chance to get a rare Keeper class for free! :0c

She has no name, but goes by Maneki. Quirky in nature, you'll spot her doing the silliest things, usually for self-amusement; such as dressing up with colorful wigs, or pretending to be a game character dropping loot upon their death, making use of her Dream Hologram to achieve such effect. She's rather fun to watch.

I drew inspiration from both Maneki Neko and Daruma dolls for her, because growing up, I had lots of these around in my house. I had two Daruma dolls and, while I know the wishes I made them coming true might have been just coincidence, I like to be superstitious about it~ ´v`
I hope to have good fortune for my future with my spouse, so I still cherish the thought and meaning of both of these dolls

She's not a regular OC, she's a Memory Keeper! Also her name is Maneki, not MYO haha "MYO" means "make your own", it's a term often used on Closed Species.

The kanji on the collar is 福 (fuku), "good fortune". It's the kanji often written on Daruma dolls' bellies. The same kanji can be also found on Maneki Neko statues as well.
The kanji on the forehead are 千万両 (senmanryou), "ten million gold pieces", "big money". This one, specifically, is found on the coin Maneki Neko statues hold very often, since they're good fortune charms that the japanese believe to "call" for money.

She's quirky and quite sassy, but she doesn't prank others. xD She knows how to have fun on her own.

Yeah, you got that right! They're placed at the entrances to bring in good fortune to the businesses, it's a very common custom. ^^

And you're welcome! I'm always happy to talk about japanese culture haha xD I'm glad you like her!
