It's been six month since he broke his leg. He's all fine and healthy again, my lovely strong boy
. I'm so happy to go for a walk through our beloved woods and finally climb mountains again.

What a beauty, love him. My big boy broke his leg as well, about 5 months ago now, and he so wants to rough it up with his sister, but I am afraid to let him in-case he damages it again.

I so know how that feels. It happened as I threw him a stick, though all the vets thought it was a car that hit him and couldn't belive that it happened just from running through a field. Well... now I kind of really have a problem thouwing anything (he LOVES flowing sticks and frisbees and still does not understand why I just don't do it anymore).

Just by running through a field after I threw a stick. I think he somehow stepped into a mouse hole while running. That was just very very bad luck that day.

Ja, es ging wirklich sehr sehr schnell irgendwie. Und ich bin heilfroh, dass alles soweit wirklich sehr gut lief. Jetzt ist nur noch das Problem, dass er wohl oder übel irgendwann Arthrose haben wird. Aber ich hoffe, er hat noch ein paar gute, sportliche Jahre. Ich hab ihm schon eingetrichtert, dass er mindestens 15 Jahre alt werden muss.

Oh, wie kommt es das ihr das jetzt schon wisst? Bedingt durch den Bruch oder wegen was anderem?
Na die 15 Jahre sollte er doch locker schaffen. Bei so nem Frauchen ist das doch ein Muß!
Übrigens, es scheint sich jetzt endlich tatsächlich und hoffentlich die Haut wieder aufzuhellen. Kira findet zwar permanent noch immer irgendwo Äpfel, aber wer weiß, vielleicht ist uns das Glück endlich mal hold
