It’s the only Swat Kats game I know of.
But like I said, a fan made version of that game would be better x3
This list was based solely off physical copies I owned. And if you read my reasoning you can see why I chose them.
I mean if your SNES collection as a kid consisted only of DKC and a watered down port of Primal Rage; then there is indeed a bit of loathing there. XD
I don’t count emulators either xD
As for CV Adventure well; I do kinda like it mostly for it’s music. And I do have some things I like bout the N64 titles
Everything here is based off what I physically played and owned. And either I only got games that were genuinely good or found oddities by accident without knowing if they were good or bad.
And as a gamer I only went by what reviews said was good. Wouldn’t go outta my way to find a bad game.
Everything here is based solely of limited experience;3

I can't see Deadly Towers without thinking of Seanbaby's article about it being the worst NES game ever.
My sister had the Pocahontas Tiger Electronics handheld game. It was stupid, although it did give me a few laughs because of its stupidity.

I actually liked Castlevania the Adventure, it was my first CV game as a kid, but admittedly the movements are very slow, compared to other Gameboy games, and some things haven't aged well about it. (Like the lack of subweapons.)
The WiiWare remake is pretty good, but to be honest, it's only a remake in name only, and is more like a completely different game. The only thing it has it common with the GB game is the fireball whip upgrade, and some of the enemies, like the rolling giant eyeballs. Sadly, it doesn't have the original GB music remixed.

Pac Man 2600 wasn't that bad. It was Atari, which is excusable.

I guess my problem with Jurassic Park is I expected it to be a game I could come back to when I feel like it since it would be a timeless classic. It has not aged well for me though compared to other Genesis titles.
Like bad movies; some bad games have great covers. It only masks the true crappiness inside. ;D
In a way yes; by showing them how I can do well in school and still play games at the same time. ;D

Its haled as one of the worst games ever. Every is bad about this game. The graphics suck (even by the 64 standards.) And the gameplay is just awful. This game is barely playable.

What we had back then we just accepted. Somehow with limited resources; we could easily accept Tiger handhelds as "Games." XD
But in this day and age with what we have at our disposal; there are very few reasons to replay them...unless it's for the most desperate form of 'nostalgia.' XD

Having personally played it I cannot agree with that statement. Maybe back in the day it got lots of praise...but then again; so did Shaq Fu. I've read a very positive review of that game in an old issue of GamePro.
So it's really a matter if perspective. And from my own experience it was terrible.
Of course most Tiger games we're bad. Sonic 2 wasn't the only one I had; I also stated that I had the Tiger versions of Karnov, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

It may not be absolutely horrible; but the choices they made on how the projectiles fired and the dizziness of the Mode 7 is what didn't work out for me.

oh boy... Castlevania Adventure... my unfortunately first Castlevania game and due to its high difficulty (especially level 3), I was scared away from the series until Dawn of Sorrow.
Swat Kats I've played as a rom, I'm glad I didn't grow up playing it as it was sluggish and slow, not to mention the controls were clunky... then the Turbokat segments... oh my god, they really overdid it with the Mode 7 making me dizzy.
Primal Rage I liked, though sadly the ports were never as good as the original arcade experience. I remember the controversies of some of the fatalities, mainly Chaos' golden shower... I think the PS1 was the closest thing to the arcade version, just they added in a hilariously dumb CG intro.
Jurassic Park for the Genesis was admittedly a guilty pleasure... completely ignoring the fact the game's programming was utter shit and made the game practically impossible as Grant and almost beatable as the Raptor. I always thought it was cool they had semi-realistic graphics comparable to Donkey Kong Country... At least the sequel, Rampage Edition was actually beatable and was actually fun while completely ignoring the events of the movie.
I played Mario Is Missing on the SNES... a different experience, but the shoehorned-in educational segments was infuriatingly dull. To this day, I have no idea if I was bored enough or patient enough to see the game through to the ending credits as a kid.
I only played Sonic 1 for the Tiger handheld... and to be fair, those Tiger systems were always considered the poor kid's Game Boy (or Game Gear in this instance). Now Sonic 2 for the Game Gear... that game forever haunts me for its difficulty, to this day, I can never get the best ending.

That is truly a sad thing to say 'Castlevania Adventure' was your first game to play of the franchise. ;__; Fortunately I played 'Symphony of the Night' first; so I realized just how good the series can be from the start. And thankfully you played a GOOD handheld Castlevania later down the road. ;D
The Turbokat segments of the Swat Kat games were truly the most dizzying of any mode 7 I've seen on a SNES Game. I guess Hudson Soft didn't really care on this one since Swat Kats wasn't really that popular to begin with and remains in "cult classic" status.
I hear the 32X was pretty close to the arcade version too; although are you willing to hook that bastard up to make a complete monstrosity out of your Genesis? XD I do remember seeing that awful CG intro on youtube. I at first thought it was someone's fan made Primal Rage project. But no; they actually made that. And aside from looking amazingly stupid and amateur; it makes one wonder why they didn't keep the original opening from the arcade in.
Jurassic Park is somewhat of a guilty pleasure too because at the time: it was a pretty good movie-tie in game. But it hasn't really aged well because it's so hard to navigate and control. Rampage Edition was more beatable yes; but the graphics weren't as impressive. Sacrificing graphics over control huh? I guess back then it was 'this for that.'
I guess since I already rented the game; I was gonna see it through. And after that pathetic excuse for a "Bowser" battle; you rescue Mario and that's it. Yeah...I'm more down with rescuing pretty hot blonde princesses over pudgy hair Italian plumbers. XD
Well we had limited resources back then; it isn't not like with downloadable games. And kids would be hard stretched not to have a phone on them these days. So for the time; we either had a Tiger handheld or nothing. Not everyone had a Game Boy; mainly due to the restrictions our parents placed on us due to price and schoolwork. I never had a Game Gear so I can't make the comparison; but I imagine it was nowhere near as good or beatable as the original Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Genesis. I guess Sega was trying their own version of 'Super Mario Land' for their Sonic series.

Yeah; what did we know back then? XD If it had Sonic; we bought into it. I also remember having this Sonic the Hedgehog book called 'Sonic's Shoes Blues' where it was for little kids and it was about Sonic and the Mobius inhabitants making a fuss over finding his shoes. It was childish and dumb but at least the artwork was good. And given it involved Sonic's feet...I know somewhere out there it turned someone on. -__-

I cherished these old chapter books of Sonic the Hedgehog that attempted to explain a different origin tale using the SaTAM verse. There was like five of them, I think? I have about 3 (the third I actually found on a used store recently.) The other was a picture book of Sonic and the Freedom Fighters solving a love letter of sorts (it's a trick by Robotnik.) And of course, the Archie Sonic comics. Can't believe that's still ongoing!
