Kirin settled back in his seat beside Annae, who seemed to be in a bit of an awkward mood. He glanced over, and after a few moments he put a cigarette in his lips, marked on the edge with a small circle to tell him it was laced with Dust, that odd narcotic that burned with a blue flame and blue smoke.
The end started to burn as he looked at it, and he watched the crimson fire turn bright cyan, until it was smoking happily. He inhaled, took it from his lips, and held it in front of him as he blew smoke out into the small room back behind his empty bar.
"Here," he said, and put his hand next to the burning end, smiling. Annae looked over, and smiled slowly as he manipulated the coloured fire into a glowing flower.
